The rumour cat has coughed up a very interesting fur ball, and it’s my turn to throw it around with gleeful disregard for personal hygiene.
It appears that it seems to be that Microsoft may or may not enable Windows 8 to play games from the Box of X 2p Radians.
I would experience engorged glands of joy if this turns out to be unfalse, considering the number of indie orgasms on the Xbox. I can’t see why Microsoft wouldn’t do it – in fact, I have to ask why this functionality hasn’t been implemented before. It surely can’t require too much sweaty fiddling, can it Microsoft?
Moving on. The big M has yet to yea or nay the fur ball, but my convincement sensors are stimulated already by the otherwise-perplexing shotgun wedding betwixt Games for Windows Marketplace and Xbox.com.
But wait! There is already consternation! This rumour ball has an add-on pack: It has been said that Microsoft may charge a subscription fee to play Xbox games on real machinery. This point, on reflection, feels a bit like shit-mongering, because charging extra money to enable people to spend more money on your stuff is not an incentive – it’s as crazy as a three-day crack binge.
Then again, we are talking about Microsoft here.
